MAX3218 RS-232收發(fā)器適用于需要兩個(gè)驅(qū)動(dòng)器和兩個(gè)接收器的電池供電EIA/TIA-232E和V.28/V.24通信接口，采用單個(gè)低壓電源供電，功耗很低。它提供+1.8V至+4.25V的寬工作電壓范圍，同時(shí)保持真正的RS-232和EIA/TIA-562電壓電平。MAX3218由兩節(jié)堿性、鎳鎘或鎳氫電池供電，無需任何形式的穩(wěn)壓器。該器件支持120kbps的數(shù)據(jù)速率，與常用軟件兼容，可用于與個(gè)人計(jì)算機(jī)通信。\n\n 借助Maxim的全新 AutoShutdown?功能，電源電流可降至1μA。當(dāng)MAX3218未在接收器輸入端檢測到有效信號電平時(shí)，板載電源和驅(qū)動(dòng)器關(guān)閉。如果RS-232電纜斷開連接或所連外設(shè)的發(fā)射器關(guān)閉，就會出現(xiàn)這種情況。若對任一RS-232接收器輸入端施加有效電平，系統(tǒng)會再次開啟。因此，系統(tǒng)無需更改現(xiàn)有軟件也能實(shí)現(xiàn)節(jié)電。此外，MAX3218可在邏輯控制下強(qiáng)制進(jìn)入或退出關(guān)斷模式。\n\n 關(guān)斷時(shí)，所有接收器都可以在邏輯控制下保持活動(dòng)狀態(tài)或被禁用，從而允許采用CMOS MAX3218的系統(tǒng)在處于低功耗關(guān)斷模式時(shí)監(jiān)控外部設(shè)備。兩個(gè)接收器輸出端都提供了三態(tài)驅(qū)動(dòng)器，以便通常采用不同接口標(biāo)準(zhǔn)的多個(gè)接收器可以位于同一總線上。MAX3218采用20引腳DIP和SSOP封裝。\n\n
